Role Summary

Administers the multi-platform Dell storage estate (PowerMax, VMAX, PowerStore, Unity — 9 arrays) and enterprise backup/recovery operations, including scheduled restore testing and compliance reporting.

Core Technical Skills

● Dell PowerMax, VMAX, PowerStore and Unity administration

● SAN/NAS provisioning and configuration

● Enterprise backup software administration (e.g., NetBackup/Networker or equivalent)

● Replication configuration and monitoring (e.g., SRDF or equivalent)

● Scheduled restore testing and compliance reporting

Key Responsibilities

● Provisioning, capacity and performance management for storage

● Backup policy and job management

● Restore/recovery operations and scheduled restore testing

● Firmware/microcode/ePack patching

Soft Skills & Attributes

● Rigour in compliance and restore-testing documentation

● Careful risk assessment before capacity/replication changes

● Reliable follow-through on scheduled maintenance windows
