We are currently seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator with a mechanical or electrical background to join our client’s team on a temporary/casual basis.
This is a excellent chance for someone with solid heavy mobile equipment experience who is looking for their next site-based role.
THE ROLE You’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating dump trucks while supporting the broader site team with your mechanical or electrical knowledge and experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely operate dump trucks and associated heavy mobile equipment
Complete daily pre-start inspections and equipment checks
Identify and report mechanical or electrical faults
Work closely with maintenance and operations teams
Follow site procedures and safety requirements at all times
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and equipment care
Assist with general site duties as required
Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will have:
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
Previous experience operating dump trucks
Mechanical or electrical trade background/experience
Strong understanding of heavy mobile equipment
Excellent safety awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and strong work ethic
Relevant tickets, licences and mining/site experience will be highly regarded
Ability to pass relevant site medical and drug & alcohol screening
WHAT'S ON OFFER?
