Junior Contract Administrator | Developer-Builder

QNY is a Gold Coast-based developer-builder delivering high-quality, design-led residential projects from acquisition and design through construction, completion and handover.

We are looking for a Junior Contract Administrator with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant construction experience to join our growing delivery team.

This is not a traditional junior CA role. You’ll work across live projects alongside our construction and development teams, gaining exposure to the commercial, design and delivery decisions that take a project from concept through to completion.

The Role

Working closely with our Project Managers, Contract Administrators and site team, you will assist with:
Subcontractor procurement, tendering and trade letting
Preparing scopes of work and subcontract documentation
Progress claims, variations and payment schedules
Cost reporting, forecasting and procurement registers
Reviewing subcontractor quotations and identifying scope gaps
RFIs, project correspondence and document control
Design and consultant coordination




Supporting the site team with procurement and commercial matters
Defects, project close-out and final accounts

This is a hands-on, project-based role with regular site involvement. We want you to understand how projects are designed, procured, built and commercially managed — not simply process paperwork from behind a desk.

About You To be considered, you will have:
Minimum 2 years’ relevant construction industry experience
Experience with a developer-builder, head contractor or commercial builder
Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar qualification, completed or underway
Solid Excel and general computer skills
Positive commercial awareness and attention to detail
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence dealing with subcontractors, consultants and project teams
A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership

Experience within a Tier 2 or Tier 3 construction setting will be highly regarded but is not essential.
