About the role

Aspex Building Designers is seeking an experienced and motivated Architectural Draftsperson to join our team in Norwood, South Australia. Working across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, this role offers the prospect to work closely with clients, consultants, and builders while being part of a supportive and collaborative team workplace. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing detailed design and construction documentation, coordinating with councils, consultants, and assisting with projects from concept through to approvals and construction.

Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed design and construction documentation
Coordinate and communicate with consultants
Assist with projects from concept through to approvals and construction

About you
Minimum 5 years' experience as an Architectural Draftsperson or Architectural Technician




Advanced proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD
Knowledge of planning and development approval processes
Sound understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and associated Australian Standards
Experience in preparing residential and commercial construction documentation
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong organisational and time management skills
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Ability to work without supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously
