We are currently recruiting Parks & Gardens Labourers / Crew Members for our client.
n
We are looking for reliable, hardworking candidates with experience in parks and gardens, horticulture, landscaping or similar outdoor settings. Experienced candidates without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
n
The role will involve working as part of a team to maintain parks, gardens and open spaces to a high standard for the local community.
n
Parks & Gardens Labourers - Rookwood - Immediate Start
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
General parks and gardens maintenance
n
Mowing, edging and whipper snipping
n
Weeding and garden maintenance
n
Operating mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers and other small plant
n
General labouring and minor works
n
Driving work vehicles where appropriately licensed
n
Using mobile devices to receive and record daily work
n
Completing daily checks and following secure work procedures
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
Previous parks & gardens, horticulture, landscaping or similar experience
n
Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience highly regarded but not essential
n
Current C Class Driver's Licence – essential
n
MR/HR Licence – highly regarded
n
Experience using parks equipment and small plant
n
Physically fit and capable of undertaking outdoor labouring duties
n
Comfortable using mobile devices such as iPads
n
Reliable, safety focused and a positive team player
n
n
Pre-employment requirements
n
2 x Employment References. Successful candidates may also be selected for drug and alcohol screening during their assignment.
