Sales Assistant – Lotto & Retail

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while promoting and selling a range of products, including lotto tickets. You will be an important part of our daily operations and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Assist customers with enquiries and purchases in a friendly and professional manner
Operate the point-of-sale system for retail items, services, and lotto ticket sales
Provide accurate information on lotto games, prizes,



and promotions
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised store environment
Stock shelves and monitor inventory levels
Handle cash transactions and balance registers accurately

Requirements
Previous experience in a TattsLotto outlet or kiosk is essential
Experience in retail sales, newsagency, or similar workplace is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
Basic math skills and confidence handling cash
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
Qualified, helpful, polite, and attentive to all customers
Punctual, reliable, and versatile
Availability to work weekdays and weekends

Benefits
Ongoing casual position
2–4 shifts per week (4–5 hours per shift) (depending on operational requirements), Monday to Saturday, on a rotating roster
On-the-job training provided
