About the Role

n

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (Division 1) to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing clinical support to our GPs and delivering outstanding patient care.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Triage and patient assessment
n
Wound care and dressings
n
Immunisations and vaccinations (in accordance with the NIP)
n
Health assessments and care plan collaboration with GPs
n
Cold chain management and infection control
n
Assistance with minor procedures, including Implanon insertions/removals, biopsies, and child circumcisions
n
Chronic disease management (Diabetes, Asthma, etc.)
n
Health promotion and patient education
n

Ideal Candidate

n





We are looking for a motivated and adaptable nurse who demonstrates a strong commitment to qualified growth and continuous learning. The ideal candidate will:

n

n
Hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
n
Be an accredited Nurse Immunizer
n
Have experience or be willing to train in assisting with minor procedures
n
Be familiar with general practice operations and Medicare item numbers
n
Be competent in the use of medical software and clinical equipment
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
Appropriate tertiary nursing qualification and current AHPRA registration
n
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in general practice or community health
n
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
n
Demonstrated knowledge of:
n
Immunisation schedules
n
Diabetes and asthma management
n
Infection control and cold chain procedures
n
CPR and emergency response protocols
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
n

Hours of Work

n

Flexible schedule available between 8:00am - 10:00pm, with options for full time or part-time employment.

n

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

n

Pay: $57,432.50 - $109,501.73 per year

n
