We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder with robust mild steel fabrication skills for ongoing work based in Smithfield. This is an excellent prospect for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused looking for secure Monday-to-Friday work.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricating and welding mild steel components independently
n
Performing MIG welding on 6mm fillets
n
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering plans
n
Handling, cutting, and lifting mild steel materials safely
n
Producing high-quality welds and finishes
n
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace
n
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
n
n
About You
n
n
Previous experience in MIG welding and mild steel fabrication
n
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
n
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
n
Full PPE including welding helmet, gloves, and steel-cap boots
n
Own vehicle or reliable transport preferred
n
