Full time Veterinary Nurse - Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery

Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery is looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team!

n

About the role

n

This is a diverse and rewarding role within a busy, skilled veterinary practice. You'll work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team to provide excellent care to our patients and their families.

n

Providing high-quality nursing and inpatient care
n
Surgical preparation and anaesthetic monitoring
n
Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and treatments
n
Administering medications and treatments
n
Pathology, IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
n
Patient monitoring and recovery
n
Maintaining accurate patient records and high standards of hygiene
n

n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their nursing skills, is comfortable working in a busy environment and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of both patients and clients.

About you

n

You will ideally be:

n

n
Certificate IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
n




Experienced and confident in clinical nursing and anaesthesia
n
Compassionate, reliable and professional
n
A strong communicator and team player
n
Organised, proactive and able to work independently
n
Passionate about patient care and continued professional development
n
