Deputy Chief Operating Officer (COO), Accommodation & Social Connections

The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Operating Officer to lead its Accommodation and Social Connections divisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial discipline, operational excellence, and sustainable service delivery to support quality outcomes for clients. This senior leadership role requires a focus on improving performance across various key metrics, including occupancy, utilization, cost-to-serve, and profitability, while also ensuring client retention, service quality, and safeguarding outcomes.

The Deputy COO will be instrumental in supporting leadership capability, accountability, and ways of working across a large, geographically dispersed service network, and will work closely with other operational leaders to enhance client acquisition and retention.



Applicants for the Deputy COO position should have a proven track record in leading large-scale service delivery within a complex and geographically dispersed environment. The role demands a leader with solid financial and commercial acumen, capable of bringing financial and operational discipline to decision-making and driving continuous improvement.

Experience in a similar highly regulated service setting, such as disability services or human services, is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at using data and evidence to drive performance improvement, and will have a history of strengthening leadership capability and enhancing client and team experiences.
