The Opportunity
n
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Estimator to join the team and take ownership of estimating and tendering activities across a range of commercial HVAC projects.
n
Working closely with the wider pre-construction, project and management teams, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates while ensuring projects are commercially viable.
n
Your Responsibilities Will Include
n
n
Preparing detailed estimates and tenders for commercial HVAC projects
n
Reviewing project plans, specifications, scopes and documentation
n
Completing quantity take-offs and reviewing subcontractor and supplier pricing
n
Obtaining and assessing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
n
Identifying project risks, exclusions and opportunities
n
Preparing accurate and competitive tender submissions
n
Working closely with project managers, engineers and clients throughout the tender process
n




Maintaining accurate estimating records and documentation
n
Supporting the business in identifying and securing new project opportunities
n
n
We are looking for someone with
n
n
Previous experience estimating within the HVAC / mechanical services industry
n
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and construction
n
Experience preparing tenders and detailed project estimates
n
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and project documentation
n
Strong understanding of project costs, materials, labour and subcontractor pricing
n
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
n
Solid communication and negotiation skills
n
Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
n
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
n
A trade, engineering or building services background will be highly regarded.
