Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Refrigeration Warehouse Supervisor, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the required capabilities in the following areas:
Liaise with customers and Fleet Controllers to monitor the arrival of freight into the VICDepot.
Plan and communicate in the event of late arrivals.
Ensure efficiency is maintained by accessing information available on SAP.
Labelling of inwards / outwards goods
Continual monitoring and analysis of data to ensure the integrity of the system.
Accurate completion of all required reports within allocated timeframes
A LF forklift licensewould be advantageous
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Certificate IV – Business Administration or Transport & Logistics or equivalent
Transport industry working knowledge
Previous experience & knowledge of warehouse and rail transport industries
Experience using SAP
Experience in a freight scanning environment
Other important information
This position in on Day Shift. Contractual hours are 7:00am-3:00pm with overtime.
