Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-performance cloud infrastructure

A leading Australian financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for an experienced cloud networking professional who enjoys designing, building and optimising secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a complex enterprise setting. You'll play a key role in shaping the organisation's cloud networking strategy while working with modern technologies across public cloud and automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement and enhance cloud networking and security infrastructure across public cloud environments
Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions to improve automation and consistency




Provide Level 3 technical support and act as an escalation point for complex cloud network issues
Contribute to the planning and delivery of future infrastructure initiatives and cloud transformations
Support the development of technology standards, governance frameworks and best practices
Partner with key stakeholders across technology and business teams to deliver critical infrastructure outcomes

Skills & Experience
Robust experience working with public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and/or GCP
Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts including virtual networks, routing, IP addressing, load balancing and network security
Hands-on experience with automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Python and Ansible
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud, network and infrastructure issues
Industry certifications such as Cisco, AWS or Azure are highly regarded
