Bakers & Pastry Chefs – Commercial Bakery

From our SQF-certified commercial bakery in Hornsby we make cakes, slices, muffins, loaves, pastry and savoury lines for customers right across Australia. We need skilled bakers to join our team working across our 24-hour production cycle.

Key responsibilities
Mix, bake, finish and decorate high-volume sweet and savoury bakery lines
Run your section to the daily production plan and hit shift volumes with quality you are proud of
Use your experience to improve yield, consistency and throughput
Keep our SQF food safety, allergen and hygiene standards, with accurate batch records
Share what you know and help newer team members build their skills

About you
At least 1 year of commercial or production baking experience – pastry, cakes or bread
Cert III in Baking or Patisserie is welcome but not essential – skill and attitude count more
Reliable and hard-working, comfortable in a quick-paced, physical production environment
A team player who communicates clearly and cares about the details
Full Australian work rights – we are unable to offer visa sponsorship




Above-award pay: $70,000 – $80,000 base plus super, reviewed as your skills grow
Permanent full time work, all year round – no seasonal layoffs, no waiting on the roster
A range of shifts across our 24-hour production cycle – early starts (3am–5am) for the bakers who like their afternoons free, plus day and afternoon shifts

A down-to-earth crew that backs each other, with managers who spend time on the floor
Up-to-date equipment, tested recipes and clean processes
On-site parking in Hornsby, a short walk from the train
