Handyman / Maintenance Specialist (Plastering & Painting focus)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Handyman with robust technical expertise in plaster patching and painting. While you will handle a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks, your core responsibility will be executing plaster and paint repairs from appliance removals as part of the government rebate program.

Key Responsibilities:

Plastering: High-quality plaster patching, sheet replacing, sanding.

Painting: Preparing surfaces and applying internal paint coats with a professional finish.

Labouring: Assisting trade plumbers & electricians in completing their daily tasks.





General Maintenance: Executing general handyman tasks which may include minor repairs & maintenance.

Client Service: Communicating professionally with clients, ensuring a clean and tidy workspace, and respecting their property.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven, hands-on experience in plastering (patching/flushing) and painting is essential.

Strong overall handyman/trade skills with a broad knowledge of home maintenance.

Possession of a current Valid Australian Driver’s License.

Own standard hand and power tools required for general maintenance, plastering, and painting.

Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and punctuality.

A current White Card (Construction Induction) and a clean Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
