A well-established and highly regarded commercial construction company is looking for an Experienced Contracts Administrator to join its Canberra team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Administrator with 4+ years' experience who is looking to take ownership of the commercial and contractual side of projects while working closely with an experienced Senior Project Manager.You'll be an integral part of the project team, supporting the successful delivery of high-quality commercial construction and fit-out projects across Canberra.The RoleWorking closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day commercial and contractual administration of your projects, including:Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final accountPreparing, reviewing and administering subcontractor contractsManaging variations, progress claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondenceAssisting with project budgets, cost reporting and forecastingReviewing and negotiating subcontractor claimsManaging project documentation and contractual obligationsWorking closely with the Senior Project Manager, Site Manager,



consultants and subcontractorsIdentifying and managing commercial risks throughout the project lifecycleSupporting the project from procurement through to completionMaintaining solid relationships with subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholdersAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Minimum 4 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within commercial constructionStrong understanding of construction contracts and subcontract administrationExperience managing variations, claims, EOTs and progress paymentsStrong commercial awareness and attention to detailExcellent communication and negotiation skillsThe ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesA proactive approach with the ability to work autonomouslyA relevant construction, quantity surveying or commercial qualification is advantageousMust have the right to work in AustraliaWhat's on Offer?
