Talent International is currently recruiting Finance Administration Assistant to work for the NSW Government, based in Parramatta. The position is a 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension, paying $40 per hour + Super.

This is an excellent prospect for candidates with finance administration, accounts payable or invoice-processing experience to join a supportive government team.

Working Arrangements

Successful candidates will initially be required to work from the Burwood office five days per week while completing training.

Following training, the hybrid arrangement will consist of:
Three days per week in the office
Two days per week working from home
Specific days will be discussed and arranged according to business requirements

Key Responsibilities
Process customer invoices and payments accurately and efficiently
Undertake general finance and accounts administration
Assist the Client Accounts team when required




Support shared-service functions in line with operational requirements
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Respond to routine enquiries and work collaboratively with internal teams

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in finance administration, accounts payable, invoice processing or a similar position
Robust attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good administrative and organisational skills
Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications
Explicit written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
A cooperative and customer-focused approach
Availability to commence as soon as possible
