About the role

EMPIRE Crane Trucks is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join the team and help take the business to the next level. This is an exciting chance for someone who is confident in building strong customer relationships, identifying recent opportunities and helping grow a successful transport business.

Key responsibilities
Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers
Identify and secure current customers and business opportunities
Follow up leads and generate new work
Manage customer enquiries and relationships
Work closely with the office and operations team
Understand customer requirements and ensure they are communicated effectively to operations
Identify upcoming construction, transport and major project opportunities
Prepare and follow up quotes and tenders
Regularly brief the owners on customer relationships,



new opportunities and business development
Help develop strategies to increase revenue and grow the business

About you
Experienced in business development, sales or account management
Transport industry experience highly regarded
Confident dealing with customers and businesses
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Motivated, organised and results-focused
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Qualified and well presented
Experienced in the transport, logistics, crane truck, construction or equipment hire industry will be highly regarded
