Chandler Macleod is seeking experiencedBoilermakers/Weldersfor a casual assignment with a leading defence client based inOsborne.
This is anASAP startthrough toDecember ****, withpotential for extension.
You'll be working in a safety-first environment on large, complex fabrication projects where quality workmanship matters.
About the role
You will be completingheavy fabrication and weldingincluding:
ARC / MMAW and TIG / GTAW welding
Plasma / LPG oxy cutting
Reading and interpretingstructural drawings
Working to strict safety and quality standards
What you'll need (essential)
Australian citizen
National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
White CardandConfined Space ticket(refreshed within the last 2 years)
Minimum2 years' heavy industrial fabrication experience(defence, mining, shipbuilding or construction projects)
Solid understanding of welding processes (MMAW/GTAW + cutting processes)
Own vehicle and current driver's licence
Great attitude,



strong attention to detail, and a safety-first approach
Highly regarded
Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fabrication stream)
Platework / large complex structures experience
Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
Basic computer skills
Security requirement
Successful applicants will be required to apply for theNaval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identification Card (NSSIC)following interview.Current NSSIC holderswill be strongly regarded.
