Job Description
Two permanent full-time opportunities exist for Assistant Extruder Operator to join the team at CopRice Leeton.
The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic team and responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the Extruder and ancillary equipment of the Extrusion plant, ensuring production requirements are met on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities
Follow production plans and adjust to meet changes in product demand and ingredient supply
Ensure plant and equipment are operated and maintained to standard
Ensure food safety compliance of ingredients and finished products
About you
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Forklift licence essential, or you must be willing to obtain one
Mechanical Aptitude (will be assessed)
Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping and bending required throughout the shift
Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
Ability to learn new processes quickly and trouble shoot difficulties whilst maintaining quality standards
Robust interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal customers/team members
