As part of our Risk & Compliance team, you'll play a critical role in strengthening our compliance risk management capability and helping the business navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
We're seeking an experienced Manager, Compliance Incident Management to lead and coordinate compliance incident management and breach reporting activities across Rabobank Australia.
This is a highly visible role that will partner with senior stakeholders across the business, providing expert advice, challenge, and oversight to ensure compliance risks are effectively managed and regulatory obligations are met.
About the RoleReporting into Compliance, you will be the subject matter expert for compliance incident management and breach reporting, driving a consistent and robust approach across the organisation.
You will work closely with business leaders, risk teams, and regulators to support effective incident assessment, reporting, remediation, and continuous improvement.
KeyResponsibilitiesOwnand coordinate the end-to-end management of compliance incidents and breach reporting across Rabobank Australia.
Assess incidents for regulatory reportability and ensure compliance with breach reporting obligations and timeframes.
Manage compliance breach processes, including preparationandsubmissionofnotificationstoregulatorswhererequired.
ProvideindependentLine2reviewandchallengeofincidentassessments,rootcauseanalyses,andremediationplans.




Monitorincidentandactionmanagementactivitiestoensuretimelycompletionandeffectiveresolution.
Conductthematicanalysistoidentifytrends,systemicissues,andcontrolweaknesses,providingactionableinsightstostakeholders.
ActasatrustedComplianceSME,providingadviceonincidents,investigations,escalations,andbusinessinitiatives.
Partnerwithbusinessstakeholderstoenhancethequality,consistency,andeffectivenessofincidentmanagementpractices.
EnsureincidentandbreachmanagementactivitiesremainalignedtotheComplianceManagementFrameworkandinternalpolicies.
Contributetomanagement,board,committee,andregulatoryreporting.
Supportauditresponsesandremediationactivitieswithcomplianceimplications.
Deliverguidance,training,andknowledgesharingtoupliftincidentmanagementcapabilityacrosstheorganisation.
AboutYouYou are an experienced compliance skilled with a strong understandingofregulatoryobligations,incidentmanagementframeworks,andbreachreportingrequirementswithinfinancialservices.
Youarecomfortableworkinginafast-pacedenvironment,influencingseniorstakeholders,andprovidingpractical,risk-basedadvice.
WhatYou'llBringExperienceMinimum6years'experienceinBanking,Compliance,orRiskManagementwithinthefinancialservicessector.
Strongexperiencemanagingcomplianceincidents,regulatorybreaches,andassociatedreportingobligations.

Experienceconductingreviews,investigations,rootcauseanalysis,andremediationoversight.

QualificationsEssentialDegreeinCommerce,Economics,Business,Law,orarelateddiscipline,orequivalentindustryexperience.
DesirableRelevantprofessionalqualificationorindustrymembership.
TechnicalKnowledgeStrongunderstandingofcomplianceframeworksandpracticeswithinbankingandfinancialservices.
SoundknowledgeoftheAustralianregulatoryenvironmentandregulatoryreportingrequirements.
Abilitytointerpretcomplexregulatoryobligationsandtranslatethemintopracticalbusinesssolutions.
Knowledgeofriskmanagementprinciples,governancepractices,andcompliancemonitoringactivities.
