ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking an experiencedBusiness Development Manager – Bioprocess Workflow ANZto join our Life Science team.
Reporting to theDivisional Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing In Vitro Technologies' bioprocess business acrossAustralia and New Zealand.
This is a strategic business development role focused on positioning In Vitro Technologies as anend-to-end bioprocess solutions partner, identifying and converting new opportunities across the bioprocess workflow.
You will work across areas includingdiscovery and cell line development, upstream processing, process optimisation, downstream processing, scale-up, purification, characterisation and quality control.
Working closely with Product Managers, Scientific Territory Managers,
Marketing, Applications and Technical Service, you will develop new customers, expand strategic accounts, build industry partnerships and drive adoption of In Vitro'sLabFlowTM portfolio and complementary bioprocess technologies.
This is an opportunity for an experienced life sciences professional to play a key role inbuilding market presence, generating demand and driving the growth of the bioprocess business across ANZ.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify and convert new customers and strategic growth opportunities across the ANZ bioprocess market
Develop and grow opportunities across the end-to-end bioprocess workflow, positioning In Vitro as an integrated solutions partner
Build strategic relationships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, CROs/CDMOs, biomanufacturers, universities and research organisations
Develop go-to-market strategies by analysing market trends, customer needs, competitive activity and emerging opportunities
Manage strategic opportunities through the sales cycle, working with Product Management, Scientific Territory Managers and technical teams to develop tailored solutions
Build a strong opportunity pipeline, maintain accurate CRM and forecasting information, and contribute to agreed revenue and growth targets
ABOUT YOU:
5+ years' commercial,
sales or business development experience within life sciences, biotechnology, bioprocessing or a related market
Demonstrated understanding of bioprocessing workflows, preferably including upstream and/or downstream processing
Proven success in recent business development, strategic account management and complex solution-based sales
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to engage confidently with KOLs, scientific leaders, procurement teams and senior decision-makers
A tertiary degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline; postgraduate qualifications highly desirable
Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building and CRM skills, with the ability and willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand
