A growing business is seeking a Finance and Administration Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this hands-on role supports the accurate and timely processing of day-to-day financial transactions and administrative functions — playing a key part in keeping our financial and operational processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately, ensuring correct approvals are obtained and payments are made within agreed trading terms
Prepare supplier payment runs
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding or overdue accounts
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Support the Finance Manager with month-end processes, financial reporting and ledger reconciliations
Provide leave cover within the Finance and Administration team as required
Book and coordinate staff travel and accommodation, sourcing cost-effective options within policy
Assist with purchasing and procurement processes
Process compensation payments accurately and respond to queries in a professional and timely manner
Support coordination of staff training bookings and events
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and has a keen eye for detail.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping or finance administration is beneficial — but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate
Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting/finance software (e.g. MYOB AccountRight or similar) is an advantage
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
A current WA driver's licence is essential, as weekly travel to the York office is required
