Calling all exceptional Baristas!

Zagame’s House is looking for a passionate, experienced and highly skilled Barista to join our Food & Beverage team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely loves coffee, takes pride in their craft and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Our café operates within our 97-room boutique hotel in the heart of Carlton, with the role also providing opportunities to assist with hotel functions, conferences and special events.

About the Role

As a key member of our café and Food & Beverage team, you will be responsible for:
Producing consistently excellent coffee to a high standard
Demonstrating strong knowledge of coffee, espresso extraction and milk texturing
Delivering fast, friendly and qualified café service
Providing exceptional service to hotel guests and café customers
Assisting with functions, conferences and special events
Following Zagame’s House service standards, policies and procedures
Contributing to a positive, energetic and team-focused environment

What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a Barista in a busy café, restaurant or hotel environment




The ability to consistently produce high-quality coffee during busy service periods
A genuine passion for coffee and attention to detail
Pride in presentation and the quality of your work
A strong customer service focus
Energy, reliability and initiative
A positive "can do" attitude
Professional presentation and standards
The ability to work confidently as part of a hotel Food & Beverage team
Flexibility to work morning and daytime shifts, including weekends
