Carer for Disabled Lady - Full Time or Part Time
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicatedCarer for Disabled Ladyto care for an elderly lady with Multiple Sclerosis which, depending on applicant's availability, could be part time or full time hours.
The role is based inMaroochydore, Queensland.
Key responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including support with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing.
Assist with mobility support and help the individual move safely around the home and community.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Support medication management and ensure prescribed treatments are taken as directed.
Maintain a clean, secure and comfortable living environment.
Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
Assist with community outings and social activities as appropriate.
Monitor health and wellbeing,



reporting any concerns to relevant family members or healthcare providers.
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a carer or in a disability support role, with a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with the individual in your care
Physical capability to provide hands-on care and mobility assistance
Reliability, punctuality and a professional approach to caregiving responsibilities
Ability to work independently whilst maintaining regular communication with family and healthcare providers
A caring, patient and empathetic temperament with genuine commitment to improving quality of life
