About the Role
Sensible Care is looking for aTurkish- and English-speaking Casual Care Workerto provide personalised care and support to a client inSoutheast Melbourne.
Turkish language skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will communicate with and support the client in Turkish.Good English communication skills are also requiredto communicate with the client, family members, and the Sensible Care team and to complete required documentation.
This is a great opportunity for someone withPersonal Care Assistance or Domestic Assistance experiencewho is compassionate, reliable, and enjoys making a positive difference in a client's day.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist the client withpersonal care and daily living activities, as required
Communicate with and support the clientin Turkish
Communicate clearly inEnglishwith the client, family members, and care team
ProvideDomestic Assistanceand help with household tasks
Assist with meal preparation and everyday routines
Provide companionship and emotional support
Build a positive, respectful,



and trusting relationship with the client
Follow the client's care plan and individual support requirements
Observe and report any changes in the client's needs or wellbeing
Communicate with family members and the Sensible Care team as needed
Follow health, safety, and infection-control requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Speaks Turkish fluently or is highly proficient in Turkish
Has previous experience providingPersonal Care Assistance— preferred
Domestic Assistance experience is also welcome
Has anIndividual Support or Aged Care qualification— preferred
Anursing background is also highly regarded
Is compassionate, patient, reliable, and respectful
Has good communication and interpersonal skills
Is comfortable working in a client's home
Is available onweekdays between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, withmorning availability preferred
Holds a currentAustralian driver's licence
Hascomprehensive car insuranceand access to a reliable vehicle
