Job Description
Asquith Workforce is an Aboriginal owned and operated recruitment agency providing permanent, temporary and labour hire solutions to a variety of industries and cultures across Sydney, Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast.
We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Horticulture specialist for upcoming work in Sydney City.
The day will start and end at the Alexandra Canal Depot, with the flexibility to work with different crews as needed.
Staff will always return to the depot at the end of the shift.
What's the job?
Hand weeding & weed spraying
Hedging, pruning shrubs
Mowing, brushcutting & whipper snippering
Mulching
Daily playground inspections
Planting, laying turf
Litter picking
What about you?
Certificate 3 in Horticulture or equivalent experience
Experience in weed spraying, including handling of weed spray chemicals
Experience with mobile devices is essential
Able to pass pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol testing
Aboriginal and Torres Strait identified candidates are encouraged to apply.
