Guerrilla Maintenance Services (GMS) is chasing experiencedMechanical Fitters and Boilermakersfor a currentmining and construction project.

Guerrilla Maintenance Services specialise in engineering, maintenance and construction services to the Australian mining industry.

The Role
You'll be working on a local tin mine in Mount Garnet, QLD.
Completing construction and commissioning works for the client, with a solid GMS team on a 8/6 roster
Mechanical installation and fit-up works
Safety works, including guarding installation
Pipework, structural steel, platework and fabrication
Working from drawings, plans and job packs
Maintaining high safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
QualifiedMechanical Fitterand/orBoilermaker/Welder
Ability to problem solve in remote locations,
out of the box thinking to contribute to the team environment
Must have reliable own transport to and from site on start and finish days
Coal Board medical or MMQSHRS
Minimum2 years site experience(mining highly regarded)
Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team
Ability to passD&A; testingand meet site requirements
Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
Tickets / Requirements
Lung screen + MMQ/RSHQ or Coal Board Standard 11
Working at Heights + Confined Space(within last 2 years preferred – expired considered)
High Risk Work Licencesadvantageous (EWP, Forklift, Telehandler)
RIG/DOGtickets highly regarded
First Aid/CPR(or willing to obtain)
Pre-employment medical
