The Role
An opportunity has arisen for aSenior Legal Counselbased in eitherMelbourneorSydneyto join this high-performing legal team.
In this role you will work at the centre of their major infrastructure projects, and support broader commercial strategy.
You will:
Draft, review and negotiate major project, construction and commercial agreements (includingEPC, ITC, Alliance, D&C;, PPPandconsultancycontracts)
Advise onprocurement strategies,tender processesandbid documentation
Provide commercially focused legal advice across major projects, infrastructure and development matters
Support contract management, risk allocation and project structuring
Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver successful project and commercial outcomes




Manage external legal advisers and supporting key project negotiations
The Candidate
You will be a construction, projects or infrastructure lawyer with approximately8+ years' PQE, gained within a reputable law firm or a leading in-house environment.
You will also bring:
Strong experience advising onfront-end construction, infrastructureandmajor projectsmatters
Particular depth of experience inrail infrastructureis favourableDeep understanding ofconstruction contracting models,procurement frameworksandrisk allocation principles
Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, energy, and transport projects
Strongcommercial acumenand the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Excellentcommunication, negotiationandrelationship managementskills
Aproactive, pragmaticandsolutions-focusedmindset
The ability to operate effectively in a rapid-paced and complex project environment
