Registered Nurse – Specialist Dermatology Practice

About the Role

Skin by Dermatologists is a leading specialist dermatology practice in central Canberra. We are seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Registered Nurse to join our team-oriented clinical team.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional, holistic care across medical and surgical dermatology procedures. You will work closely with expert dermatologists in a modern, supportive setting with genuine opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Procedures: Assist doctors during surgical and non-surgical treatments; administer phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, and other specialized therapies.

Patient Care & Education: Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care, wound management, dressings, suture removal, and clear patient instruction.

Clinic Operations: Manage clinical inventory, track specimens,



and oversee instrument sterilization using our on-site autoclave.

Documentation & Support: Maintain precise patient records, ensure treatment rooms are well-stocked, and provide peak-overflow support to reception when needed.

What We’re Looking For

Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse (minimum 1 year post-graduate experience).

Previous experience in dermatology is highly desirable.

Strong clinical and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.

High attention to detail, strong team spirit, and flexibility to cover leave when required.
