Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist looking for a part-time chance close to home?

Our client, a busy specialist medical clinic in the Sutherland Shire, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to start ASAP for a 1-month temporary assignment (needing full commitment).

Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am–5pm, you’ll join a supportive and established team within a busy front-office environment. Conveniently located close to public transport, this is a great opportunity for someone seeking a short-term, part-time role within a qualified and welcoming team.

The Role

As part of the front-office team, you will play an significant role in ensuring the smooth running of the practice and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Welcoming and assisting patients and visitors at reception
Managing appointments, referrals, incoming calls and email enquiries
Processing billing and payments
Updating and maintaining patient files
Liaising with and engaging with the clinic's referral network
Completing general administration including scanning, filing, photocopying and attaching documents




Assisting with rosters and other administrative tasks
Supporting the wider reception team to ensure the smooth running of the clinic

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a rapid-paced reception or administration environment, ideally within the medical sector (preferred)
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
Confidence working in a busy environment with a positive, can-do attitude
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
Initiative and a proactive approach to your work
A collaborative and team-focused approach
