About the role
We're looking for anexperienced Nursery Retail & Horticulture Team Memberto join our friendly team in Sandringham.
This is a hands‐on role for someone wholoves plants, enjoys working with people, and has experience in a retail nursery or horticulture environment.
You'll be involved in bothplant care and retail sales, helping customers find the right plants and products while keeping the nursery looking healthy, organized, and inviting.
What you'll be doing
Providing friendly, knowledgeablecustomer service
Helping customers select plants and garden products
Using yourhorticultural and plant knowledgeto provide advice
Caring for plants and maintaining displays
Watering, pruning, potting and general nursery duties
Replenishing and organizing stock
Operating the POS and processing sales




Keeping the nursery clean, tidy and presentable
Assisting the team during busy periods, particularlyspring and weekends
What we're looking for
The ideal person will have:
Previousretail nursery or horticulture experience
Good knowledge of plants and general horticulture
Strongsales and customer service skills
A friendly, approachable personality
Positive communication skills
A strong work ethic and positive attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Weekend availability, particularly during our busy spring period
A genuine passion for plants and gardening
