We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our PM and Night Duty team on a permanent part-time basis.
n
This role is suited to compassionate carers who take pride in providing respectful, consistent and resident-focused care overnight, while working collaboratively within a supportive clinical team.
n
About the Role
n
As a PCA on PM and Night Duty, you will support residents with their personal care and overnight needs while ensuring comfort, dignity, safety and wellbeing are maintained throughout the shift.
n
You will play an important role in creating a calm and supportive environment for residents and assisting the clinical team in delivering high-quality care.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assisting residents with personal care, hygiene, dressing, continence support and mobility
n
Supporting residents with overnight routines and responding promptly to call bells
n
Monitoring resident wellbeing and reporting changes or concerns to the RN/EN
n
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
n
Supporting infection control, safety and workplace procedures
n
Working collaboratively with the nursing and care team to ensure continuity of care
n
Promoting residents' dignity, independence and choice at all times
n

About You
n
n
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
n




Minimum 12 months experience working in aged care or a similar healthcare setting
n
Availability to work permanent night duty shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
n
Solid communication and teamwork skills
n
A caring, patient and professional approach
n
Ability to work independently and remain calm in overnight situations
n
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
n
Current COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations in line with aged care requirements
n

Highly Regarded
n
n
Ability to speak Croatian or understanding of Croatian culture and traditions
n
Experience working in residential aged care night duty roles
n
Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to resident care and teamwork
n
