Techforce is partnering with a leading organization within the infrastructure and construction sector to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager for a Melbourne-based opportunity.

This role will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of major projects, including contract administration, variations, claims, subcontractor negotiations, commercial risk and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
n
Administer contracts and subcontract agreements.
n
Manage variations, claims, notices and contractual correspondence.
n
Monitor project costs, commitments and commercial performance.
n
Support procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
n
Review contractual obligations and ensure compliance.
n
Identify and manage commercial risks.
n
Work with project and construction teams to resolve commercial issues.
n
Prepare commercial reports and forecasts.
n
Support project budgeting and cost control.
n
Manage contractual interfaces between clients, contractors and subcontractors.
n
Assist with dispute avoidance and resolution.
n




Provide commercial advice to project leadership.

What We're Looking For
n
n
Previous experience as a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, Senior Contracts Manager or similar.
n
Strong major construction or infrastructure project experience.
n
Strong contract administration and commercial management background.
n
Experience managing variations, claims and subcontractors.
n
Experience across
telecommunications,
infrastructure, construction, energy, mining, marine or heavy industrial projects highly regarded.
n
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
n
Strong understanding of commercial and contractual risk.
n
