A paid 3-day induction at our Darwin office before you travel to your assigned community

FIFO – Minimum roster of 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off, with extended FIFO

As a Remote Area Midwife (RAM), you will:
n
n
Work within a multidisciplinary team alongside an Aboriginal Health workforce in the Maternal and Women's Health Program
n
Provide high‐quality antenatal and postnatal care
n
Build trusted relationships with women, families, and community leaders
n
Support culturally safe, holistic models of care
n
Contribute to healthier futures for remote families
n
Engage with Yolnu culture and learn from local knowledge holders
n
May be required to participate in the RAN on-call roster at some locations.
