ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll be part of a dedicated team delivering holistic and person centered care to residents across the organisation's aged care facilities. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary team while ensuring each resident's individual care needs are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
Conduct resident assessments and develop tailored care plans
n
Provide safe, respectful and holistic nursing care
n
Administer and monitor medications
n
Lead and mentor ENs and personal carers during your shift
n
Collaborate with doctors and allied health staff
n




Advocate for residents and promote their wellbeing
n
Monitor health changes and respond with clinical judgment and critical thinking
n
Maintain a safe working environment and participate in health and safety initiatives
n

ABOUT YOU
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) – essential
n
AHPRA registration
n
Aged care experience strongly preferred
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
Passionate about delivering resident focused care
n
Postgraduate training in aged care or gerontology desirable
n
