Job Description
Albert's is a busy and well established neighbourhood wine bar with a strong focus on seasonal produce, thoughtful cooking and great wine. Working closely with the Head Chef and the rest of the kitchen team, you'll work across multiple sections and play an important role in the daily running of the kitchen. Our chefs work in view of our guests, which is a big part of the Albert's experience, so being clean, tidy and well-presented is particularly important.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and running your section to a consistently high standard, with the ability to work across multiple sections of the kitchen
n
Producing dishes consistently and with strong attention to detail
n
Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation within our small, open kitchen
n
Working collaboratively with both the kitchen and front of house teams
n
Contributing ideas and input as the menu evolves
n
About you
n
Has at least 1-2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
n




Is a confident and capable cook with strong fundamental techniques in European cooking
n
Has a genuine interest in seasonal produce and simple, ingredient led food
n
Enjoys working in a busy, small kitchen and as part of a close knit team
n
Has open availability across the week, including Saturday and Sunday
n
Is highly organised, clean and efficient
n
Communicates well and works collaboratively and respectfully with others
n
Can remain calm and consistent during busy services and isn't afraid of hard work
n
