Job Description
This is a full time, on-site A-Grade Electrician role within the mechanical electrical sector. The electrician will install electrical systems associated with HVAC, VRF/VRV, air handling units, chilled and hot water plants, pumps and motorised valves on high-density residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
n
Wire and connect MSSB
n
Integrate electrical components into BMS
n
Perform testing and commissioning
n
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations
n
Diagnose faults in electrical systems
n
Collaborate with project managers and site teams
n
Document work carried out on installations such as stair pressurisation systems, lobby tempering, carpark ventilation and pool heating
n

About you
n
n
Strong foundation in BMS / DDC and mechanical electrical
n
Competence in installation of electrical components associated with VRF/VRV, air handling units, pumps, boilers and ventilation
n




Proficient troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving electrical faults in complex, integrated mechanical-electrical setups
n
Valid A-Grade Electrician licence and understanding of Australian electrical standards and regulations
n
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and BMS integration documentation
n
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with project managers, engineers and other trades
