Join the Financial Services team at Colac Otway Shire Council and play a key role in supporting the financial operations that help our community thrive. From bank reconciliations and accounts payable to financial administration and reporting support, you'll be an important part of a collaborative and high-performing team.

What you'll be doing
n
You'll provide operational finance support across a broad range of activities, including:
n
n
Daily bank reconciliations and financial processing
n
Supporting month-end finance activities
n
Assisting with accounts payable, supplier maintenance and payment runs
n
Processing procurement card transactions and credit notes
n
Supporting GST, FBT and other taxation-related reporting
n
Providing backup support for Accounts Payable and assisting across the wider Finance team as needed
n
n
What you'll bring
n
We're looking for someone who has:
n
n
Experience in finance administration, accounts payable, bookkeeping or similar roles
n
A sound understanding of accounting and finance principles
n
Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
n
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
n
Great communication and customer service skills
n
The ability to prioritise,



meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
n

Salary information: $71,****** to $75,****** per annum plus superannuation
n
