Ballarat Day Procedure Centre (BDPC) comprises three operating theatres and 17-day oncology chairs, offering a broad range of surgical services. Specialties include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, IVF, Plastics, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery and Dental.

We support more than 10,000 patients each year across Ballarat, the Central Highlands and Greater Western Victoria.

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team on a casual or part-time basis (immediate start).
n
The role:
n
n
Reception / Switchboard duties
n
Understanding of Microsoft Suite of products and data entering
n
Filing, photocopying and other office duties
n
Assist with maintenance of Medical Records
n
Be responsible for the receipt of billing and payments from patients, including end of day banking reconciliation
n
Undertake training in the operations of our Day Surgery Management software
n
n
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Attention to detail
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
n
Available to work flexible hours, including early and late shifts
n




Working with Children Clearance / Department of Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI) Child-Related Employment Screening
n
Comprehensive computer literacy and typing skills
n
