Safe Inspect is seeking a skilled
Gasfitter/Maintenance
Plumber to join our team in Geelong, Victoria. This full-time opportunity will see you play a vital role in maintaining and servicing residential and commercial properties in the local area and conducting Gas Safety Checks across the Geelong/Bellarine and Surf Coast regions.

What you'll be doing
n
Performing routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of plumbing systems and gas appliances
n
Carrying out Gas Safety Checks on residential properties
n
Diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing and gas issues to identify and rectify the problem
n
Installing, testing and commissioning new plumbing and gas systems
n
Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide high-quality, efficient service
n
Complying with all relevant safety standards and regulations
n
Maintaining detailed records and job reports
n
Supporting the broader team as required
n
Options for 24/7 callouts with extra incentives
n




What we're looking for
n
Formal qualifications in plumbing and gasfitting, including a current plumbing licence and gas fitting licence
n
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a qualified plumber, with a strong background in maintenance and repair work
n
Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality work standards
n
Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
n
