Job Description
n
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment and be capable of performing a wide range of tasks related to plant operation.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Operate and maintain a variety of plant equipment, including but not limited to excavators, posi tracks, rollers and water carts.
n
Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs as needed to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
n
Monitor equipment performance and identify and report any issues or abnormalities.
n
Assist in the setup and shutdown of plant operations as needed.
n
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
n
Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve goals and objectives.
n
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, dockets and other relevant information.
n




Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications
n
n
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Plant Operator or similar role in a civil construction company.
n
Tickets / VOC for Posi track, Excavator, Roller and Water Cart.
n
GPS Experience (Ideal)
n
Final Trim Experience (Ideal)
n
Current HR Driver's license.
n
Understanding of basic construction activities and methods.
n
Good knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
n
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
n
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in plant operations.
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
n
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
n
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
n
Physical stamina to work long hours.
n
