As a Gardener and/or Maintenance Worker you will help create and maintainbeautiful, safe, and inviting spacesfor our residents while supporting the ongoing upkeep of the facility and our grounds.
The role will involve bothpreventative and reactive maintenance tasks, helping to identify and address issues before they become problems, as well as responding to repairs and maintenance requests as they arise.
Every task you do—from pruning a garden to fixing a pathway—contributes to the comfort, safety, and happiness of those we care for.

Key Responsibilities – Handyperson / Maintenance:
Perform basic maintenance tasks: painting, minor repairs, cleaning, carpet/window care
Assist with moving furniture, event setup, and general labour tasks
Support maintenance of outdoor areas, including gardening/landscaping
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment.
Key Performance Areas include:
Ensures the highest standards of practice in accordance with OHS regulations
Compliance with the Aged Care Standards, Yallambee's Policies and Procedures and Yallambee's Vision, Mission and Values Policy.
Ensures a safe working and living environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
You will Bring:

Physical fitness and adaptability to various weather conditions
Good communication, reliability, and punctuality
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or maintenance is a bonus butnot essential
