Bakers Delight Sturt Mall is seeking an experienced and motivated Baker to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bakea variety of breads and bakery products.
Measure and prepare ingredientsin accordance with production recipes and specifications.
Monitor dough qualitythroughout the production process to ensure consistency and product quality.
Operate commercial bakery equipmentsafely and efficiently.
Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standardsand production specifications.
Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirementsat all times.
Monitor stock levelsand assist in minimising product waste.
Work collaboratively with the bakery teamto meet daily production targets and requirements.
Assist with cleaning and maintainingbakery equipment,



utensils and work areas.
Skills & Experience
Applicants should demonstrate:
Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experienceas a Baker.
Relevant baking qualification, such as Certificate III in Baking or equivalent, is highly regarded.
Previous experience working in a commercial bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of bread production techniquesand bakery processes.
Ability to work early morning shiftsand meet production schedules.
Strong attention to detailand a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
Ability to work independently and collaborativelyas part of a team.

Requirements
AQF Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification OR minimum 3–5 years' relevant commercial baking experience At least 2 years' post-qualification or equivalent industry experience Proven experience in artisan and commercial bread production Strong understanding of dough fermentation, baking processes, and quality control Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and under pressure Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
