Bistro By Bolton is seeking a talented Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our bustling bistro located in Miranda as a part of the established Miranda Hotel.

As a Chef, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring every dish that leaves the kitchen meets our high standards for quality, presentation and taste. Your creativity, technical skills and passion for food will be instrumental in maintaining Bistro By Bolton's reputation as a destination for outstanding dining.

What you'll be doing
n
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes
n
Maintaining impeccable standards of food safety, hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen
n
Organising and managing your station efficiently to ensure smooth service
n
Collaborating with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely and coordinated meal preparation
n
Plating dishes with care and attention to presentation standards
n
Assisting with inventory management and reporting on stock levels as required
n
Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies
n
What we're looking for
n
Proven experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy hospitality environment
n
Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and culinary principles
n
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to consistent quality in every dish
n




Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times
n
Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
n
Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
n
Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods
n
Flexibility with scheduling MUST be able to work Nights, Public Holidays and Weekends
n
Relevant qualifications or certifications in food safety or culinary training (desirable)
n
Passion for quality food and a genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry
