Tyre Fitters - Experienced & Entry-Level Opportunities

Workforce Extensions Geelong is recruiting on behalf of Associated Cold Tread Tyres for multiple full-time Tyre Fitter positions based in North Geelong. We are seeking both experienced tyre fitters and motivated candidates looking to start a long-term career in the tyre and automotive service industry. These roles offer stable employment, variety in day-to-day work and the opportunity to join a well-established local business with a strong reputation across the Geelong region.

About the Role
n
Working as part of a supportive team, you will be involved in servicing a wide range of vehicles and equipment including passenger vehicles, trucks, agricultural machinery and industrial equipment.
n
Depending on your experience and training, duties may include workshop-based work as well as on-site customer service work across the region.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Removing, fitting and balancing tyres across a range of vehicles and machinery
n
Conducting tyre inspections and identifying repair or replacement requirements
n
Providing tyre repair and maintenance services
n
Assisting customers with tyre-related enquiries and recommendations
n
Performing service work both in the workshop and at customer locations when required
n
Maintaining safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
n
Supporting general workshop and warehouse operations as needed
n
n
No previous tyre fitting experience is required for these roles.

Full training will be provided to candidates who are mechanically minded, willing to learn and committed to building a long-term career within the industry.

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n

Previous tyre fitting, mechanical or automotive experience (preferred but not essential)
n
A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
n
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
n
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
n
