Safety Advisor / Safety Business Partner

Their Sunshine operation forms part of a large national manufacturing network, with a solid focus on safety, operational performance and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Zoom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor / Safety Business Partner to join our client's manufacturing site in Sunshine.

This is an initial 6-month casual, temp-to-perm opportunity, offering $65-$70 per hour inclusive of casual loading, depending on experience.

You will work closely with site leaders, contractors and frontline workers, providing practical, hands-on safety support across a busy operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide visible safety leadership across the site
Support safety systems, processes and compliance
Assist with risk assessments, isolation plans and operational risk management




Support safety requirements for recent machine commissioning
Coach workers on hazard management, event reporting, inspections and safety observations
Deliver safety training including isolation, contractor management and load restraint
Support site safety meetings and training compliance
Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and engagement

About You
Previous safety experience within a manufacturing environment is essential
Certificate IV in WHS or relevant Health & Safety qualification
Experience supporting safety systems, risk assessments and hazard management
Strong communication, coaching and influencing skills
Confident engaging with frontline workers and site leaders
Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to hit the ground running
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment highly regarded
