Job Description

Sydney Earthworks is seeking an experienced Senior Site Supervisor / Foreman to join our team on civil and earthworks projects across the Southern Tablelands region of NSW. This position will initially be offered on a contract basis, with a genuine view to permanent full-time employment for the right person. We are looking for a hands-on leader who can take ownership of site operations, lead crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily civil and earthworks activities
n
Lead site crews, subcontractors and plant operators
n
Coordinate labour, plant, materials and deliveries
n
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
n
Oversee earthworks, excavation, drainage, formwork and concreting
n
Monitor project progress and maintain construction schedules
n
Ensure high standards of workmanship and quality
n
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections
n
Maintain solid WHS standards across the site
n
Identify and resolve site issues efficiently
n

About you

Proven experience as a Civil Site Supervisor / Senior Foreman
n
Strong experience in earthworks and civil construction
n
Experience managing crews, subcontractors and plant
n
Structural, formwork and concreting experience highly regarded
n
Ability to read and interpret plans, levels and specifications
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
A high level of safety awareness and commitment to quality
n
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
n
A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to take ownership of site outcomes
n
Willingness to work across the Southern Tablelands region
n
Contract position with a view to permanent full time employment
