We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Colour Matcher / Ink Technician who will preferably have an understanding of the flexographic printing process, or related discipline (e.g., paints).
n
Planning and execution of production requirements, including Colour-matching & manufacturing of inks.
n
Responsible for Quality Control of ink production and measurement vs. KPI's
n
Measurement of Ink and print performance, including preparation of regular reports.
n
Project work & evaluations.
n
The successful candidate will possess a strong set of analytical skills, together with a high attention to detail & sound understanding of colour.
n
To be successful in this role, you require:
n




Knowledge of colour matching practices.
n
Demonstrated colour matching skills.
n
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in colour matching is required.
n
Demonstrated knowledge of printing ink and consumable products, or related field (e.g., Paints).
n
Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field
n
A hands-on approach.
n
Strong organizational & troubleshooting skills.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
Ability to interact effectively with a broad range of people.
n
Experience using spectrophotometry will be highly regarded.
n
Familiar with various Microsoft packages
n
Australian work rights are required for this position.
