About the company/role:

Major pharmaceutical company who manufacture personal care products

Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
n
Seeking an experienced QC Chemist to join their afternoon shift
n
3pm - 11pm, Monday - Friday
n
Permanent, full-time opportunity
n
n
Duties:
n
n
Sampling of raw materials when required
n
Routine analysis of raw materials using basic wet chemistry techniques and small instrumentation
n
Test and releasepackaging materials and artwork
n
Liaising with Warehouse personnel in regards to raw material deliveries
n
Analysis of intermediates and finished products when fully trained
n
n
Skills & experience:
n
n
Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals or relateddiscipline
n
Demonstrated industry experience within a GMP enviornment
n
Understandingof chemistry techniques, including wet chemistry and analytical techniques
n
HPLC experience within a GMP setting ishighly regarded
n
Excellent communication skills
n
Good with time management and organisation
n
